It works like this: You'll tell us what you think were the three best dubs this month from the 16 dubs (sometimes 20) in order. From those votes a top 5 monthly will be made. Judges: Acchan, Hanii, Suki, Will TIPS: - Don't stress out about it too much. One of the worst things you can do in dubbing is get all neurotic about something. Pick your three dubs and don't spend too long on it- you'll just get a headache! - If you're uncomfortable letting people see your results for some reason (IE: Don't want to offend a friend, don't want anyone to know your top dubs are the ones you were involved) PLEASE use the private form! We want COMPLETE HONESTY! And if anyone is bullying people about the Yoricon, let us know about that too. *If you would like to vote privately please PM me. This was the hardest thing I have ever had to cast and I feel so bad about it! To do this so I could completely avoid any bias, I had a dubber and a real life friend help me judge. The criteria was based on Reliability, Mic quality, if you are a “Power Vocal” or lead material, if I can auto tune you, if there were harmonies in the audition (because it’s something I stressed on a lot for this that harmonies were important), and how you would overall fit with everyone else.
The three people also included pick order. First pick would receive a 100%. Second pick would get a 90%. Everyone else would get 80% and the backup pick would get a 75%. Everyone who got a pick by someone else received a score of 70%. Even so, there were quite a few even 70% scores across the board even though they didn’t get ranked. I decided to accept anyone 80% or above and also the person at 78% to go with a 6-member group. The scores for those who ranked are as follows:
100% (top pick for 3 judges)
83% (Second pick from one judge, picked by other two)
80% (Second pick from one judge, picked by one other)
80% (All 3 choose)
80% (All 3 choose)
78% (Second pick from one judge, runner up by one other)
75% (Picked from one judge, runner up by one other)
75% (Picked from one judge, runner up by one other)
73% (Picked by one)

Instrumentals can be anything. Just specify what it is (H!P, kpop, general jpop, etc.) 2. Instrumentals MUST be official, no homemades, no matter how good they are. 3. Please try to make your Challenges 4-10 minutes long. 4. When claiming something you should post your own instrumental as well to keep this thread going. Have fun! I'll post my own instrumental when I get back to my room.

Currently the Admins are discussing ways to make the forum more active or ways to advertise Yo! Project. We want to bring back things like Member of the Month and the Comment System. For winning Member of the Month, the person got the appreciation from the community and a member banner. For posting the most Comments in the month in the karaoke system, the winner got the redirect spot for any channel they wanted. To bring these back we need your help at being active community members. Here is a chart of where Yo! Project has gone through the years:  And we will continue to decline if something isn’t done. Everything downsized as a result and will continue to downsize. We want to make a new rewards program for the members that participate in activities. A member appreciation program. With the member appreciation program, members will receive the following prizes: 1. Be in a special member group 2. Receive a member banner under your name saying you are in that group. 3. Have access to a new forum that will have special collabs just for you guys! 4. Be entered in drawings through the year for Gift Certificates or cd’s from YesAsia. 5. Be the first to have access to new ideas that are being discussed in the Admin forum. 6. Choose themes for Yo! Project community collabs (the whole community will choose the song to fit your theme). How do you get in this group? Participate, be Member of the Month, be the person who has the most comment in the Karaoke discussion for the month, Advertise, vote in the Yoricon, etc. What do you guys think of the idea? Please leave comment if you have any other ideas and/or vote! It won’t be official until we have some member input and it definitely won’t be official if we don’t have active members to be in the group! We also need more activity and more advertising for Yo! Project to stay active. If you guys could share Yo! Project with your friends we would appreciate that. If we downsize Yo! Project even further, at this point, there will be nothing left.

Wow videos take 5 minutes to upload at school and an hour to upload when I'm at home. Anyways, Happy Valentine's Day! http://youtu.be/zE_psM4C68AEdit - By the way, unless this is watched in HD it sounds absolutely horrible. I tried a new mastering process and YouTube doesn't like it. It just sounds so muddy if it's not HD!

Hey Yo! Project! Currently Farrah, Rina, and myself are the only Admins on board and we are looking for more! I am looking for at least one more Admin to join the team and one Moderator. Here are the jobs: YouTube manager: Will be responsible for congratulating/letting people know when they make the weekly. You will also be responsible for uploading videos monthly with the top 5. Moderator: You will be responsible for approving people to the forums, making sure old topics in Karaoke sections go into the Archives, and any other moderating duties that we can come up with in the next few months. More than one person can be a YouTube manager or a Moderator. If you are interested in a position just PM me and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Anyone is welcome to apply as long as you are willing to stay active in your duties. The more people we have on the Admin team, the more things we can plan for you guys in the future.
