I've been wanting to try Professor Layton for a long time! Is it really good? How challenging are the puzzles?

The puzzles really range. Like, some are mainly logic, some are "move the boxes around until you can get the ball to the exit", etc. For me, personally, I really liked the difficulty level. SOme were harder than others, but nothing was TOO impossible; a lot of the time you just need some lateral thinking. It has a really good system, in that you can find hint tokens around the game, and use these to help you with puzzles (each puzzle has three accompanying hints), so it's kind of rare to be COMPLETELY stuck, unless you've either used up your hint tokens or the hints just don't do it. And even then you can go off and do additional puzzles until you figure out the current one you need to progress.

I really like it. As a whole I KIND OF prefer the first one, especially plot wise, but the plots are both really good. And I enjoy both games greatly. My sister and I are hooked, and even had to buy two copies of the second game (whereas we shared the first) because we both wanted to play it so bad.

A game I DO wish I had played/gotten in Japanese is Rhythm Heaven. I really like the game, but . Some of the songs are sung SO unenthusiastically. Like, there's one sung by a member of Canary Club, and in the English dub it just sounds... like, weird as hell.

But the game DOES equate wota to monkeys, so.

The "I suppose" / "Kamo ne" song? I found a comparison dub of all the languages somewhere on Dohhhup a long time ago, and honestly I don't get the hate for the English version. It's pretty much a direct translation. XD I think it's more that, as foreign fans, we prefer to NOT really understand what's happening in our J-lyrics. :3

I ~guess~, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that a lot of my "nobody's around, need to make some walking music" noise comes in the form of "If only I could just conjure a spell something something hocus hocus hocus *clap clap clap clap*" xD I DON'T KNOW WHY THAT LINE MAKES ME HAPPY. It just does.

Like Taiko no tatsujin XD;
And I think I played one cooking dancing game because it had Balalaika XD;

I play video games more than is healthy and that has only increased in the last few months. This is especially true since I know have a PS3 and a Wii in addition to my 360, and I already had both of the current handhelds!

My recent/current favorites: Bayonetta, Heavy Rain, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, BioShock 2, Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Valkyria Chronicles, God of War. Lots more to play.

I have a copy of every single main game (i.e., all the non-spin-offs), TCG for GBC, Pinball for GBA, Red Mystery Dungeon for GBA, and (shh) roms of all the DS Mystery Dungeon games and the second Ranger game on my R4 card. I was so very very upset today because Gamestop came to tell me that my game would be in tomorrow, but I have a bad signal at my house and thought they said it was in TODAY, so I sent my mom halfway across town to go pick it up (I had to work until after Gamestop was closed), only to find out they were calling me to tell me they had it a day early. And they didn't even have the guide to sell yet. I was sooooo mad. So I'm going first thing tomorrow morning to chew them out for being STUPID pick up my reserved game and (also reserved as of 4pm today) guide.
