Isn't a CV what you write when you apply for a job? with a list of your qualifications and abit about your personality along with basic info like date of birth ect? I think I'm going to have to write one soon..

I've never heard it in Canada either. It sounds like it is like a cover letter for a resume.

Man, it hasn't really sunk in that I bouught a new comp yet. So excited! Maybe I can play Sims 3 on it I don't play Sims 2 ever though. Sims is less fun when your not 16 and have a fandom and make houses and giggle at Nino coming into Matsujun and Aiba's room and farting while they made out. THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED GUYS. It was glorious. And okay I was 20. But. Still. No fandom. I coyld make my novel characters or realsies friends, but. Not the same. Well, I think that killed enogh time. Off to catch the bus! Enjoy that insight into my mind.

It's used differently in the US, I think. A resume is "these are the jobs I've had", whereas a CV is "I have no real marketable skills or workplace background, but here's a list of my accomplishments! " -- at least, that's the difference between my two. xD My resume is like "shit jobs" but nobody really CARES if some old men in Europe liked something I wrote once, but my CV is like "I HAD A PUBLICATION GAIZ. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D oh yeah and some shit jobs too."

Sims is not fun after you get a house and kids in your actual life.
Although I have a friend who installed a crapload of hacks in her game so she could have her Sims give birth to twins, triplets, etc., be anatomically correct when naked, and they never needed jobs. She would do weird stuff like kill people on purpose to make a house haunted or have a Mormon family with 8+ kids.

Ah, I remember Sims!  My friend had it and whenever I would go to her house when I was 13 we would play it all the time XDD  The game confused me, but I liked making the house look pretty and have your husbands be celebrity crushes and stuff!  Don't know how fun it would be now, I never really controlled the mouse so I never knew what to do, but it was a blast! XDD

I used to be into messing with genetics. I'd start with a red haired girl and a black hair guy and watch as all their kids and grandkids and great grandkids have black hair until like one girl three generations later has red hair out of no where.

My current laptop didn't have a good enough video card to play Sims 2. My new one however... =o I don't think I want to start getting addicted again though!

At least you don't have to worry about making up those ridiculous days off late on during your summer... or even worse, Spring Break when people already have vacation plans. 

I've never played the Sims.  The program was always too expensive for me to buy just to play.  *shrug*  But I was always amused at watching other people come up with characters and make them do things. 

Set list changed last night.  And as usual, the song I had almost memorized was the first cut.  I always start on the wrong one.  Go figure.  But we changed it from 5 new songs/2 old to 4 new/4 old.  Makes it a little better.  And one of those new ones, we'd already learned half of, so it's sort of old too... LOL

The parade for this weekend got canceled.  Well, the parade didn't, just the fact that our 3 groups were marching in it.  I'm rather relieved right now.  My costume wasn't ready since I was redoing it.  And it was going to be COLD.  I mean, we have snow on the ground and my costume is sleeveless with a really short skirt.  >_<  I'm so smart.  So we moved doing that during the October parade.  (See?  I'm smart!  From one cold month to another!)

Gosh... kids are back 10 minutes early.     So much for our planning time.

I don't care how many days we go into the summer. I'm a senior and I'll be gone weeks before that.

Liana - It's STILL not official, since the guy never called us back last night.  But we've been talking to him for a week about different things, and pretty much got everything except the "you can officially announce it" from him, so I think we're pretty sure.  It's at some little con in Colorado on the 5-7th of March.  I'm not sure exactly what it's called, but I can find out for you.  I don't even know what day we're performing on.

I'm really worried though since I think we're opening for some JRock local band.  Most people don't like the whole JPop thing, even if we are doing mostly Buono or the later adultish sounding Momusu songs.  But a performance is a performance!  And this was a scouted performance, in a far away state, which is even more awesome.   

Soli - That's what they did the last snow storm we had.  It was hours before it hit and they called school off.  We didn't even know if it was GOING to hit.  But it did!  Lucky you though!  LOL Teachers have to stay no matter what prior plans we had.  Oh well.  *holding on to her spring break tightly*

I am having issues keeping my eyes open.  Hurry up and end, day!
