Y!P is a community for online karaoke. The fact that it's mostly Asian is coincidental. No where will you ever find the word "Asian" in Y!P's descriptions. It's a completely open forum whose tastes belong to the members- in fact, what started out having almost exclusively Hello! Project karaokes being organized now seems to have more K-pop than anything. Because it's got a focus on being community run, we have this system where the judges for the Y!P Weekly are rotated and voted on. Personal taste and bias are IMPOSSIBLE to overcome if we're going to try and showcase some of the stand out dubs on this forum, so having it open like this is the best way I was able to come up with. When I announced how the Y!P Weekly was going to work I made a post in the announcement thread about my plan for it, which no one replied to or brought forth any discussion about. It's in the announcement forum. If anyone has any actual suggestions
on how to improve this system and not just pointing out flaws we already know are there and have chosen to accept, please do so
Also, I've talked to Mellie one on one and think she'll be incredibly fair and probably end up discovering a lot of new, unfamiliar music she'll adore.
