If any timing is off, that is ALL me baby! I try to check and double check but somewhere around hour 20 it all just blurs together. I do want an excuse to talk about why I choose remixes!
After our Oh or even Nu ABO, I haven't been a huge fan of JUST using an instrumental remake. I think it's better to combine a noraebang, a vocal rip, and samples FROM the vocal rip- that's how I made the Hoot and Visual Dreams instrumentals and I really liked the results of that. Remakes just sound empty otherwise. So I would have done that + remixes originally, but here's why I didn't-
Mr. Taxi: THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER MR TAXIS XDDD We started ours the second the song came out but it got bottlenecked and by the time I was ready to work on it, poor Mr. Taxi had been through a lot. See: Zessei Bijin's Mr. Taxi
and Line's Mr. Taxi
and DC's Mr. Taxi
. Like those are AWESOME and we couldn't have been any MORE awesome with our version, but we could be different! It's a lot of fun to just do a song even if it's a bit "overdone" for most, but personally, I have a LOT more fun being different. It's not really srs business, I just get bored doing something Everyone Else Has because I'm a hipster so I was like "Okay wow Mr. Taxi is really tired right now you guys give him a break. He needs his 30 minute lunch. He needs to call his wife."
Run Devil Run - This one is unfortunate. I COULDN'T combine it with a vocal remove + instrumental remake because Kesha's demo version can't be found in true stereo and, thusly, cannot go through a vocal rip, and we couldn't combine the English with the Japanese or Korean BG 'cause. Hot mess city XD I feel like there's an official Run Devil Run instrumental out there SOMEWHERE but I couldn't find it!!! I DID try to find another remix-y instrumental that would have a full sound to it but the weirdly off time one was all I had
This version is actually kind of a placeholder one while I scour the internet for one that's more on rhythm. I checked and double checked and I mixed the vocals exactly on rhythm, I will send anyone us mixed with Kesha if you be hatin', we are all singing together, it's that damn instrumental. It's LOVELY and I love the Mortal Kombat thing but I am too rhythmically retarded to figure out what he's got going on there.
Mistake - GUITAR SO PRETTY
And Visual Dreams and Gee already had alternate versions
Gee is so out of place lmao oh well . . .
