The Yoricon year is coming to an end for 2011. I did have some whole awards thing planned where I went through and counted how many dubs each group, soloist, and producer made to make a group/soloist/producer of the year and I was going to have MVP awards based on the top ranking producers on the Yoricon monthly of the year and it was supposed to start yesterday and I was going to make a ton of videos for it but, let’s be honest, no one cares and that is too much work for just me to do. I would have to make videos and prizes for everyone.
However there is one award that I really do want to give to two people who have participated and been in the community through the year. In my counting spree I counted who voted for the Yoricon and how many times they voted. Fifty people voted this year in the Yoricon, some only once, some whenever the felt like it, some new members too. But two people stuck around and commented on every single month.
I don’t want to give awards to outstanding producers, they do deserve it but they will get recognized in the yearly. I do want to give
Ayuna and
Carlos each a cd from YesAsia of their choice (or just wherever the cd is that you want but please no $50+ Japanese cd or something XD) because the Yoricon would not be here without a community of voters.
